## CSR according to Pegamento

At Pegamento, we believe that technology only adds real value when it helps people move forward, in their work, in their lives, in the world. That’s why we combine technological innovation with social responsibility. Not as an afterthought, but as an integral part of who we are.

### CSR according to ISO 26000 and the CSR Performance Ladder

Our CSR approach is based on international guideline **ISO 26000**, which supports organizations in taking responsibility for themes such as human rights, the environment, working conditions and fair business practices.
ISO 26000 is not a certification, but offers us a solid foundation for acting sustainably. To demonstrate this externally, we are striving for [Level 3 of the CSR Performance Ladder](http://pegamento.nl/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/MVO-prestatieladder.jpg), the level at which CSR is a demonstrable and integral part of our business operations and those of our chain partners.

## Nature & environment

We invest in sustainable technology, partner with green data centers, encourage circular use of equipment and actively reduce our CO₂ emissions. Through our **Natural Netherlands** project, we also contribute locally to nature restoration.

Together with the [World Wildlife Fund (WWF),](https://www.wwf.nl/) we support initiatives such as _“Give Water Space,”_ to protect ecosystems and habitats worldwide.

## Community involvement

We donate to initiatives that affect us, such as [**PLN Foundation**](https://plnheart.org/) (for hereditary heart muscle disease) and [**the Blind Garden of Esther Crombag**](https://www.esthercrombag.nl/). We offer opportunities to interns, lateral entrants and people distanced from the labor market through, among others. [**Icarus Foundation**](https://project-icarus.nl/), [**Everyday Heroes**](https://www.everydayheroes.com/) and the [**UWV**](https://www.uwv.nl/nl).

## Transparency & security

At Pegamento, information security is essential. That’s why we are ISO 27001-certified. Our collaboration with reliable partners such as [**Uniserver**](/uniserver) assures customers of a green, secure and future-proof infrastructure.

## Industry code of customer contact

Pegamento is an active member of the Customer Service Federation and subscribes to the [KSF Code of Responsible Market Conduct](https://pegamento.nl/en/ksf-code-of-responsible-market-conduct/). With this we contribute to a strong, fair and future-proof chain for customer contact. The code is our guide for sustainable cooperation and clear, shared standards. We translate this daily into concrete behavior and responsible solutions for our customers.
