Want to know how we’ve been using AI to enhance the customer experience for years?

“With Pegamento, we found not just a supplier, but a true partner in change. Thanks to their expertise and our joint DevOps approach, we have made great strides in a short time. The technology supports our people so they can focus on where they make a difference: personal contact with entrepreneurs.”

Agentic AI positively impacts employee satisfaction by taking over repetitive tasks and freeing up employees for more meaningful work. This technology reduces workload, improves work-life balance and creates space for personal development. Despite initial concerns about job loss, Agentic AI actually appears to support employees by reducing stress and improving collaboration. The key lies in thoughtful implementation that strengthens human skills rather than replacing them.

What is Agentic AI and how is it different from regular AI?

Agentic AI is a form of artificial intelligence that can make decisions and act autonomously without constant human instruction. Unlike traditional AI systems, which only perform pre-programmed tasks, Agentic AI can analyze situations, set goals and autonomously take action to achieve them.

The main difference from ordinary AI lies in the degree of autonomy. Traditional AI operates according to fixed rules and patterns, while Agentic AI can learn from new situations and adapt to changing circumstances. This technology can manage complex processes, set priorities and even come up with creative solutions to unexpected problems.

For employees, this means that Agentic AI not only takes over repetitive tasks, but can also act as an intelligent assistant who thinks along with them about work processes. For example, the system can automatically schedule meetings, prepare documents and suggest process improvements based on analyzed work patterns.

Why are employees often afraid of AI implementation?

Employees fear AI implementation primarily because of fear of job loss and a sense of loss of control over their work. These concerns are understandable, as technological change has often led to reorganizations and job changes in the past.

Psychological aspects play an important role in this anxiety. Many employees associate their identity and self-worth with their work, so technology taking over their tasks is perceived as a threat to their professional value. They also fear the complexity of new systems and the need to learn new skills.

Change anxiety is compounded by uncertainty about the future and a lack of clear communication about the role of AI. Employees worry that they won’t be able to keep up with technological developments or that their experience and intuition will be less valued in an automated work environment.

It is crucial to take these fears seriously and involve employees in AI implementations from the beginning. Transparent communication about goals and training in new skills can help reduce resistance and create enthusiasm.

How can Agentic AI eliminate repetitive work?

Agentic AI eliminates repetitive work by completely taking over routine tasks and freeing up employees for creative and strategic activities. For example, the system can automatically answer emails, generate reports, perform data entry and update customer data without human intervention.

In practice, this means that administrative tasks, such as processing invoices, scheduling appointments and keeping track of inventory, can be fully automated. Agentic AI can recognize patterns in work processes and optimize them, not only saving time but also improving the quality of work.

For example, for customer service workers, Agentic AI can automatically answer frequently asked questions and refer only complex cases to human workers. This not only increases efficiency, but also allows workers to focus on challenging problems that require their expertise.

The impact on daily work is significant: employees experience less boredom and frustration from repetitive tasks, have more time for personal development, and can focus on work that is truly fulfilling and makes the best use of their skills.

What benefits does AI offer for work-life balance?

AI automation improves work-life balance by reducing overtime and giving employees more flexibility in their work schedule. As routine tasks are automated, employees can handle their work more efficiently within regular working hours.

Technology provides stress reduction by reducing workload and relieving employees of time-consuming, repetitive activities. This creates mental space for creativity and strategic thinking, leading to increased job satisfaction. Employees often report a sense of relief when they no longer have to focus on boring, routine tasks.

AI systems work 24/7, which means that certain processes can continue outside business hours without employees having to be available. This reduces the pressure to be constantly available and gives employees room to actually switch off after working hours.

It also creates more time for personal development and learning new skills. Employees can focus on training, networking and developing competencies that prepare them for future career challenges.

How does Agentic AI improve team collaboration?

Agentic AI improves team collaboration by streamlining communication and facilitating knowledge sharing across departments. The system can automatically share relevant information, keep team members informed of project developments and ensure consistent communication.

The technology acts as an intelligent project coordinator that monitors deadlines, distributes tasks and reminds team members of important milestones. This reduces the administrative burden on project managers and ensures that everyone stays on the same page, without constant manual coordination.

Agentic AI can also act as a knowledge base that brings together information from various sources and makes it accessible to all team members. This prevents important information from being lost and ensures that new team members can be quickly inducted with relevant knowledge and procedures.

Interdisciplinary collaboration is supported because AI can translate complex information into different areas of expertise. For example, a technical report can be automatically summarized for marketing teams, while financial data is presented in a format suitable for operations teams.

Hospitality is one of my deepest motivations.
Not surprisingly, of course, customer service is a common thread in my career. Aspects of hospitality is being able to connect, to facilitate but mainly to make someone feel genuinely welcome. My intuition is my greatest asset to be able to put myself in the shoes of a guest. A customer is my guest.

Fed by various senses, an image forms around the client. I listen to what is being said, watch facial expressions, taste the underlying tone and get a feel for the challenge to be addressed. An image literally forms on my retina. I have to be able to see it. If I can see it, I can create it.

In this, the trick is to pursue simplicity, give the client a warm feeling that the problem is understood, receive good advice, facilitated and carefully guided to the solution. Trust, connect and unburden.

The feeling when a guest arrives at your hotel after a long tiring journey, can sit in front of the fireplace, be handed a good glass of wine and stare carefree at the fire. My guest knows it will be okay.

How can I help you? That’s pretty much the first question I ask when talking to people who are curious about our services. In such a conversation, the use of senses is very important. Because not everyone is the same. One person thinks in images, while for another words are important or how something feels. For me, sight and hearing are the most beautiful senses, because both eyes and ears absorb information and can convey or process emotions.

Why hearing? Because listening is essential in contact. And it’s the key to unlocking valuable insights.

I developed this skill early on. As a child, I enjoyed radio plays on the radio, bringing the stories to life in my head.

Recognizing and automating patterns. Tasks we are constantly working on when implementing our robots at Pegamento. My 2 Drentsche Patrijshonden are hunting dogs and certainly not robots. The hunting instinct and intuition is basically in their genes. Continuing to offer new forms of training has taught them to recognize and act independently in hunting situations. Even “unsupervised,” even if I’m not around.

But when you try to teach a brain something, it also starts to see things you don’t expect. Dogs pick up on the slightest deviation in your voice or directions. To start recognizing that and correcting it again is perhaps the most complex challenge. But in our work, for the wonderful clients for whom we get to work, it often yields the most beautiful new insights!

Feeling. That’s the best thing Pegamento stands for. Feeling for technology in the broadest sense of the word. Not only feeling for the exciting stuff like AI, but also for the basics of communication.

The very best part of my job is selling, listening, translating and thinking about what really matters. We bring the digital transformation with a great team!
The diversity of our team, how sharp we are, but especially the wonderful things we get to make makes me feel extremely good. Hence, I intuitively chose the sense of “feeling.

Feeling gives life and differentiation!
