CSR according to Pegamento

At Pegamento, we believe that technology only truly adds value when it helps people move forward. That’s why we combine technological innovation with a sense of responsibility toward our employees, customers, partners, and society. Not because we have to, but because we believe it’s the right thing to do.

As of October 15, 2026, Pegamento has once again been certified at Level 3 of the CSR Performance Ladder. The certification was conducted by TÜV NORD Netherlands, based on certification standard version 4.1.

This means that our CSR management system has been independently assessed and meets the requirements of Level 3. We systematically work toward corporate social responsibility, involve stakeholders in our decisions, and measure and improve our performance.

Our approach is aligned with ISO 26000, the international guideline on social responsibility.

Nature, the Environment, and Circular IT

Sustainable business starts with conscious choices

Our technology requires energy, infrastructure, and equipment. That is why we take a critical look at the impact of our business operations and services on the environment.

We are working to develop energy-efficient digital infrastructure, promoting sustainable mobility, and giving decommissioned hardware a second life whenever possible. Together with specialized partners, we ensure that equipment is reused and recycled. In 2025, 98% of our replaced hardware was reused or recycled.

The human aspect matters, too. We encourage working from home, healthy exercise, and sustainable transportation choices. At the same time, we track our CO₂ emissions and are constantly working to reduce our environmental impact.

Through our partnership with the Bartiméus Fund, we also link circularity to social responsibility: proceeds from the reuse of equipment benefit initiatives for people with visual impairments.

Through our “Natural Netherlands” project, we also contribute to nature restoration at the local level. Together with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), we support initiatives such as “Give Water Space” to protect ecosystems and habitats worldwide.

Community involvement

We donate to initiatives that affect us, such as PLN Foundation (for hereditary heart muscle disease) and the Blind Garden of Esther Crombag. We offer opportunities to interns, lateral entrants and people distanced from the labor market through, among others. Icarus Foundation, Everyday Heroes and the UWV.

Transparency, Safety, and Corporate Social Responsibility

Trust isn’t built solely on what you promise, but above all on what you can demonstrate.

That is why, at Pegamento, we invest in demonstrable quality, information security, privacy, and corporate social responsibility. Our ISO 27001 certification and CSR Performance Ladder Level 3 certification are part of that approach.

For us, social responsibility also means taking a critical look at the use of AI, the protection of information, and the impact of technology on people and organizations.

We provide insight into our goals and results through our annual CSR report. In it, we highlight what we do, the results we achieve, and the areas where improvement is still needed.

This is how we’re developing technology that’s not only smarter and more efficient, but also safe, responsible, and people-centered.

Industry code of customer contact

Pegamento is an active member of the Customer Service Federation and subscribes to the KSF Code of Responsible Market Conduct. With this we contribute to a strong, fair and future-proof chain for customer contact. The code is our guide for sustainable cooperation and clear, shared standards. We translate this daily into concrete behavior and responsible solutions for our customers.
