Mendix, low code development

How Pegamento helps organizations exceed expectations today and tomorrow.

AI and mobile-first customer contact

The world of customer contact is moving faster than ever. Customers – both private and business – no longer have patience for queues, cumbersome forms or cumbersome portals. They expect immediate answers, intuitive interaction and above all: convenience. And that convenience usually starts in their pocket, on their smartphone.

Whether it is an order question via WhatsApp, a complaint via web chat or a status update in an app – the mobile device is the starting point of modern customer communication. Not as an addition, but as a starting point.

Staying agile in a world that is constantly changing

Organizations that want to remain customer-centric cannot afford to stand still. The days of months of development processes are behind us. Those who want to be relevant tomorrow must be able to experiment, learn and adjust today.

That’s why Pegamento works with Mendix Low Code Application Platform: a powerful low-code platform with which we develop applications quickly, flexibly and scalably – fully integrated with your existing IT.

But Mendix is not an end in itself. It is an accelerator. The real value is in how we deploy it.

AI as an accelerator of value

We are also increasingly deploying AI in our Mendix projects. Not as a gimmick, but as a strategic tool to increase speed and quality.

AI helps us with, among other things:
  • Automatic generation of models and code
  • Test scenarios and documentation
  • Smart support during development

This gives our teams more space to focus on the core: solutions that create real value for users.

Solutions that fit the user and the moment

We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all. From a deep understanding of customer processes, we build solutions that add value – at the right time, through the right channel, on the right device.

Thanks to Mendix, we are developing faster than ever:

  • Visual modeling without complex code
  • Reusable components
  • Iterative improvement based on feedback

Where you used to wait months for the first release, we deliver a working prototype in weeks that can be tested immediately in the field.

Mobile-first, always in control

We design every solution from a mobile-first perspective. Not only in design, but also in architecture, performance and integration.

Because a customer who contacts you on the go via his phone wants:

  • Direct overview
  • Frictionless action
  • Never having to tell his story twice

We ensure that every touchpoint – whether an app, voicebot or portal – is part of a consistent brand experience.

The power is in the combination

What makes Pegamento unique is its consistency:

  • Mendix as a robust low-code foundation
  • AI as an accelerator of innovation
  • Pegamento as a partner with overview and domain knowledge

We build solutions that are not only technically sound, but actually work – for employees and customers.

Real-life examples:

  • Customer portals that automatically synchronize with CRM and back office
  • Mobile apps for field staff with real-time updates
  • Conversational AI combining speech, text and intent recognition

Always mobile. Always connected. Always in control.

Ready for the next step?

At a time when change is the norm, Pegamento offers the speed, flexibility and vision to move with you – and to always stay one step ahead of customers.

Technology as a means, not an end

At Pegamento, we believe that customer contact is not a department, but a strategic domain. It determines how you are perceived, valued and remembered as an organization. That’s why we don’t just build software. We build:
  • Relationships
  • Loyalty
  • Experience

Hospitality is one of my deepest motivations.
Not surprisingly, of course, customer service is a common thread in my career. Aspects of hospitality is being able to connect, to facilitate but mainly to make someone feel genuinely welcome. My intuition is my greatest asset to be able to put myself in the shoes of a guest. A customer is my guest.

Fed by various senses, an image forms around the client. I listen to what is being said, watch facial expressions, taste the underlying tone and get a feel for the challenge to be addressed. An image literally forms on my retina. I have to be able to see it. If I can see it, I can create it.

In this, the trick is to pursue simplicity, give the client a warm feeling that the problem is understood, receive good advice, facilitated and carefully guided to the solution. Trust, connect and unburden.

The feeling when a guest arrives at your hotel after a long tiring journey, can sit in front of the fireplace, be handed a good glass of wine and stare carefree at the fire. My guest knows it will be okay.

How can I help you? That’s pretty much the first question I ask when talking to people who are curious about our services. In such a conversation, the use of senses is very important. Because not everyone is the same. One person thinks in images, while for another words are important or how something feels. For me, sight and hearing are the most beautiful senses, because both eyes and ears absorb information and can convey or process emotions.

Why hearing? Because listening is essential in contact. And it’s the key to unlocking valuable insights.

I developed this skill early on. As a child, I enjoyed radio plays on the radio, bringing the stories to life in my head.

Recognizing and automating patterns. Tasks we are constantly working on when implementing our robots at Pegamento. My 2 Drentsche Patrijshonden are hunting dogs and certainly not robots. The hunting instinct and intuition is basically in their genes. Continuing to offer new forms of training has taught them to recognize and act independently in hunting situations. Even “unsupervised,” even if I’m not around.

But when you try to teach a brain something, it also starts to see things you don’t expect. Dogs pick up on the slightest deviation in your voice or directions. To start recognizing that and correcting it again is perhaps the most complex challenge. But in our work, for the wonderful clients for whom we get to work, it often yields the most beautiful new insights!

Feeling. That’s the best thing Pegamento stands for. Feeling for technology in the broadest sense of the word. Not only feeling for the exciting stuff like AI, but also for the basics of communication.

The very best part of my job is selling, listening, translating and thinking about what really matters. We bring the digital transformation with a great team!
The diversity of our team, how sharp we are, but especially the wonderful things we get to make makes me feel extremely good. Hence, I intuitively chose the sense of “feeling.

Feeling gives life and differentiation!
