Pegamento welcomes Katja van de Wall, John de Deugd and Calvin Lam, further investing in growth, innovation and customer focus
Pegamento further expands the team with three new colleagues who each contribute to the next phase of the organization from their own expertise. Katja van de Wall starts as the person responsible for Operations, John de Deugd strengthens the engineering team and Calvin Lam starts as Conversation Designer. With their arrival, Pegamento underlines its ambition to continue building on quality, innovation and strong customer service.
With this expansion, Pegamento brings in extensive experience in operational control, mission-critical communication systems and conversational AI. The three new colleagues each bring their own background, specialism and energy, with which they will make a valuable contribution to the further development of the organization.
Katja van de Wall will start April 1 as head of Operations. She brings broad experience in managing technical teams and organizing complex environments. In previous roles, she led approximately fifteen development teams and gained extensive knowledge in improving collaboration, structure and predictability within technical organizations. At Pegamento she will focus on further strengthening the operational strength, further developing the service organization and optimizing processes so that customers can continue to count on quality, continuity and a professional service.
The engineering team also gains a highly experienced force with John de Deugd. John brings more than thirty years of experience in the telecom industry and has witnessed the evolution of the profession up close: from analog neighborhood exchanges to modern cloud-based recording and communication systems. He is a certified specialist in Avaya Aura and NICE Engage/NTR and has extensive experience designing, implementing and managing mission-critical communications systems in complex enterprise environments. With his knowledge of SIP architectures, compliance, recording integrity and scalable solutions, among others, John is an important asset to Pegamento and its customers.
With the arrival of Calvin Lam, Pegamento is also bringing in additional expertise in conversational AI and digital interaction. Calvin starts as Conversation Designer at the end of March and brings experience from the Bijenkorf, Vattenfall, GroupM Netherlands and Neople, among others. In his work, he combines concept development, design and research to design conversational AI solutions that align well with user needs. With his background in Communication and Information Sciences and New Media Design, he contributes to the further development of user-friendly, accessible and effective digital customer interactions.
With these three appointments, Pegamento explicitly chooses to further strengthen expertise, cooperation and innovation. The expansion of the team is in line with the ambition to support organizations with future-oriented communication and customer contact solutions, in which technology, reliability and user experience come together.
Pegamento welcomes Katja, John and Calvin and looks forward to working together.
