At Pegamento, we have recently been looking for a new Chief Happiness Officer. An important role, because culture, collaboration and job satisfaction are not side issues for us, but an essential part of how we build our organization together.
Over the past period, we have spoken with twelve different candidates. Great conversations, interesting profiles and a lot of enthusiasm. At the same time, we increasingly came to the conclusion that the right person was actually already within Pegamento.
That’s why we are pleased to share that Ernst Vegter is our new Chief Happiness Officer.

Ernst knows Pegamento inside and out. With his experience within our organization and his strong sense of what goes on in teams, projects and daily collaboration, he brings exactly what this role requires. Moreover, everyone who works with Ernst knows that collegiality, culture and good collaboration are really close to his heart.
That is precisely why this move feels like a very logical one.
At Pegamento, we strongly believe in developing people from the inside out. We think it’s important to give colleagues room to grow with our organization and take on new roles that fit their talents and ambitions.
In his new role, Ernst will continue to focus in the coming period on everything that contributes to job satisfaction, culture and cooperation. In this way, together we will continue to build a Pegamento where people love to work and are proud of.
Congratulations, Ernst, and good luck in your new role!
