What do we expect from you in this role?
As a Solution Developerat Pegamento, we expect you to within the first 90 days:
- Delivered at least one solution from design to production in collaboration with a customer team.
- Have improved at least one existing application based on user feedback or monitoring data.
- Participated in sprint planning, effort-estimates and go-live preparations – and made concrete contributions that colleagues cite as valuable.
Within 12 months, we expect you to:
- Took responsibility for the technical realization of 2-3 client projects (often simultaneously).
- Build at least one domain expertise (e.g. Sprinklr, Mendix, AI) that will make you a go-to person within the team.
- Regularly shares knowledge – through peer reviews, brown bag sessions or internal workshops.
Concrete tasks and responsibilities
- Translate customer needs into technical solutions (not “build features,” but “solve problems”).
- Assess efforts in multidisciplinary teams.
- Collaborate with architects, UX’ers and other developers to design and build solutions.
- Integrate with customer APIs, systems and platforms.
- Ensuring code quality, scalability and maintainability.
- Thinking along on process optimization, RPA and automation.
- Ensuring that the delivered software in production continues to work as intended – you are jointly responsible for its success after going live.
What do we expect from you as a person?
- HBO+ working and thinking leveland experience building software (in any language).
- Skill in logically translating customer requirements into working applications.
- Broad basic technical knowledge (network, APIs, logic, cloud or DevOps are all welcome).
- Proven ability to work independently as well as help colleagues move forward.
- Fluent communication in both Dutch and English.
Bonus points if you have experience with: Mendix, Sprinklr, Power Platform, RPA (UiPath), telephony (VoIP, SIP), AI integrations or image recognition.

What to expect.
Our application process focuses on true cooperation and mutual clarity:
- Introduction (45 min)with Nini and a fellow developer – who are you, what are you getting good at, what are you looking for?
- Technical in-depth discussion (1 hour)with architect and developer – we discuss your approach on previous projects and look at an existing client request together.
- Team interaction: you work with the team for two 2-hour sessions (in the evening) on a real client case– not a whiteboard assignment or fictional app.
- You run in a mini-sprint: analyze, build, discuss.
- This gives you and us an honest picture of what collaboration looks like.
- Evaluation and offerings– including content feedback, space for your feedback, and clear agreements on expectations and growth path.
