Pegamento introduces a completely updated version of its web softphone, now fully part of WorkplaceX, the digital workplace for smart customer contact solutions. Where previously it worked with software from an external supplier, Pegamento has now developed its own product entirely. That means: more flexibility, shorter lead times for customer requirements and seamless integration with other Pegamento services such as PhoneSystem and AI solutions.

The updated web softphone works even more closely with Pegamento’s PhoneSystem and additional services. For example, calls can be linked directly to CRM or ERP systems and AI can be used for functions such as automatic call summaries and intelligent routing. All calls can also be recorded and listened to later, ideal for quality assurance and training.

Users can make calls directly from the central directory or their own contact lists, manage queues, have call backs and transfer calls both hot and cold. They can also see at a glance which colleagues are active in the same queues. Calls are easily transferred to landlines, cell phones or Microsoft Teams. With one click, employees sign in or out of specific queues and set their availability via a clear presence indicator.
